The Dutch-born graphic designer Pieter Huveneers (1927-2017), a pre-eminent figure in the development of corporate identity design in Australia, is the focus of this issue.
Guest Editor, Dr. Noel Waite, RMIT University writes about Huveneersâ early work in the Netherlands and England, where his career as an international design consultant began. Dominic Hofstede, a partner in the international design studio Mucho writes about Huveneersâ contribution to corporate identity design in Australia; Dr. Stephen Banham, typographer, writer and lecturer in the RMIT University explores the indelible mark that Huveneersâ design has left on the streets of the city.
